Who we are

Seventeen years of doing the work,
instead of talking about it.

Digital marketing team at work

The tactics change every eighteen months. The thinking doesn't.

Some context on how we got here. Elite Information Tech started in 2008. The founder was running a small SEO operation out of a rented office when the financial crisis hit and half the client base dried up in three months. The rest didn't have budgets for proper agency retainers, but they still needed work done. So the operation grew slowly. Five people, then twenty. By 2015 we'd opened a second office. By 2019 we crossed a hundred. Today we're around 300.

We've never been the loudest agency. We don't pitch our work at award shows. We rarely speak at conferences. Most of our clients found us through other clients. That's a slow way to grow, but it's the kind of growth that doesn't have to be sustained by sales pressure. Our top fifty clients average more than five years with us. Several have been here since before we had a real office.

In seventeen years we've done a lot of work that didn't work. We've also done plenty that did. We've watched search results turn into Q&A engines, then ad blocks, then AI summaries. Social platforms rose and fell while their attribution models broke and re-broke. The thing that stayed constant is that marketing is about understanding what people want and helping them find you when they want it. The tactics change every eighteen months. The thinking doesn't.

The team breaks down into specialists. About 50 work in SEO, 40 in content, 35 in paid media, 30 in web design and development. Email and CRO sit together at around 25. Brand and strategy is another 20. PR has 15. Operations, project management, and admin make up the rest. We're set up by craft, not by client account. An SEO strategist might be on three accounts simultaneously while contributing to the broader practice.

We're not the right fit for every company. We turn down about a third of inbound inquiries because the work won't pay back, or the channel mix is wrong for the stage, or we're already working with a direct competitor. When we say yes, we usually mean it for years.
What we do

Ten disciplines we've built into
full practices.

We're set up as a full-service digital agency, not a specialist shop. Each of these has a dedicated team, a head of practice, and the kind of process documentation that comes from doing the same work for over a decade.

Link Building & Guest Posting

In 2008 you could buy a link from any half-decent directory and rank for it. By 2012 that stopped working. By 2017 most of the agencies still doing the old playbook had been penalized into oblivion.

What sets us apart

Six things we've come to believe
after seventeen years.

01

We've been around long enough to know what works.

The average digital agency has a lifespan under five years. We're past seventeen. That doesn't make us better by default, but it means we've watched a lot of tactics rise and fall. We don't chase every new shiny thing. We don't ignore the new shiny things either. We figure out which ones actually move the needle for our clients, and we implement those. Steady gets compounded results.

02

We invest in our team, and it shows in the work.

The biggest difference between a good agency and a mediocre one is talent retention. Most of our senior team has been with us five plus years. We pay above market. We fund ongoing training, conferences, and certifications. We run four-day weeks during summer. We give people real ownership of their work. The result is that the senior strategist who pitched your account is the same senior strategist who runs it three years later.

03

We say no to work we shouldn't do.

About a third of inbound inquiries to Elite Information Tech don't become clients. Sometimes the budget doesn't match the goals. Sometimes the channel mix doesn't make sense for the stage. Sometimes we're already working with a direct competitor and the conflict is too sharp. Saying no costs us revenue in the short term. It earns us the trust to charge proper fees and keep clients for years.

04

We tell you what's actually happening.

Reports written by humans, not generated by templates. Monthly calls with the strategist who actually does the work, not an account manager passing notes. When something works, we explain why so you can repeat it. When something doesn't, we say so and explain what we're changing. There's nothing more frustrating than an agency that won't tell you the truth. We try hard not to be that.

05

We're built for the long game.

A lot of agencies optimize for booking the next deal. We optimize for the kind of multi-year relationships that let our team go deep into your business. The top fifty clients with Elite Information Tech average more than five years tenure. Some have been with us over a decade. That's only possible if the work keeps producing results and the relationship stays healthy. We're not interested in any other kind of engagement.

06

We work across the whole funnel.

Most agencies specialize in one channel and try to force everything to fit. We work across SEO, content, paid, email, social, PR, and brand because that's how the funnel actually works. Top-of-funnel demand. Mid-funnel nurture. Bottom-funnel conversion. Each piece supports the others. When the team running your SEO has a Slack channel with the team running your paid ads, the strategies stop competing and start compounding.

Our process

How an engagement actually unfolds.

Six phases over twelve months. The first two are mostly research. Months two through six is execution. After that, most clients move from foundation-building to scaling mode.

Six phases of engagement
01

Discovery & audit

2 To 3 Weeks

We start with a proper audit. Two to three weeks. We pull data from your analytics, your ad accounts, your Search Console, your CRM if you'll give us access. We look at your competitors. The output is a real document with real findings, not a sales deck with bar charts. Everything we found, ranked by what we think will move the most revenue.

02

Strategy & roadmap

1 Week

The audit becomes a 6 to 12 month roadmap. We map every workstream to a business outcome. Organic traffic targets tied to revenue. Paid efficiency metrics. Conversion benchmarks. Brand search demand. Whatever the right metrics are for your business. We walk you through the strategy. If something doesn't fit, we adjust. Then we start.

03

Setup & foundation

First Month

First month is structural work. Tracking gets fixed. Account structures get rebuilt. Content templates get created. Reporting gets configured. Boring but necessary. Skipping this step is how campaigns end up looking active without actually moving anything important. By the end of month one, everything is measured properly and ready to scale.

04

Execution

Months 2 to 6

Months two through six is the execution work. Content gets produced and published. Ads get launched and optimized. Outreach campaigns run. Email sequences ship. Whatever your specific service mix involves. Weekly progress through Slack or email. Monthly deep-dive reviews on a call. You always know exactly where things stand.

05

Measurement & iteration

Monthly Cadence

Every monthly review answers three questions: what worked, what didn't, what changes for next month. We iterate quickly when something underperforms. We double down when something wins. No marketing strategy survives twelve months unchanged. The good ones get smarter every thirty days. Quarterly business reviews tie everything back to revenue.

06

Scale & compound

Month 6 Onward

Around month six, most clients move from foundation-building to scaling. The systems are working. The content engine is producing. The accounts are profitable. Now we expand what works. Add channels. Add geographies. Add product lines. This is where most agency relationships end and most of ours just begin. Our longest active client signed in 2011.

Industries we serve

Where we have deep experience

We've worked across enough industries to know that the fundamentals translate, but every category has its own quirks. These are the spaces where we have the deepest bench.

SaaS & B2B Software

From pre-Series A startups to public SaaS companies. Freemium funnel work, ABM demand generation, product-led growth content, LinkedIn paid for decision-maker job titles.

Ecommerce & DTC

From single-SKU Shopify brands to multi-category enterprise commerce. The team has managed paid budgets up to $500K monthly across Meta, Google Shopping, Klaviyo, and TikTok Shop.

Healthcare & MedTech

Tightly regulated. Long sales cycles. We handle compliance-aware content, HIPAA-friendly marketing automation, and provider acquisition campaigns that pass legal review.

Financial Services

Fintech startups, traditional banks, wealth advisory firms. We understand FINRA, SEC marketing rules, and the difference between approved and unapproved language.

Real Estate & Property

Local SEO, listing portals, lead generation funnels, the long sales cycle reality of property as a category. Several real estate clients have been with us for over a decade.

Education & EdTech

Universities, online course platforms, certification providers. We handle international student acquisition, course inquiry campaigns, and lifecycle marketing for cohort-based programs.

Travel & Hospitality

Seasonal demand, OTA competition, brand loyalty. We've helped boutique hotels increase direct bookings while reducing OTA commission dependency by significant margins.

Manufacturing & Industrial

The category most agencies avoid. We love it because buying intent is high and the competition for digital share-of-voice is still relatively low compared to consumer categories.

The Work

Three engagements, three different problems, three real stories.

Client names withheld for confidentiality. We can put you on a reference call with any of them if you want to verify the work directly.

A million-dollar SEO problem that nobody knew how to fix yet.

Came to us with what they thought was a million-dollar SEO problem. Their organic traffic had been growing steadily for three years. Then it dropped 30% in two quarters with no obvious cause. We diagnosed it as a combination of AI overview takeover for their top informational pages, a few technical issues their previous agency hadn't caught, and content cannibalization across their blog.

The fix was rebuilding their content strategy around bottom-of-funnel intent, consolidating cannibalizing pages, and shipping new content that targeted the searches their old pages couldn't anymore. Took about nine months to get back to previous traffic levels. Took fifteen months to exceed them by 60%. They're still with us four years later. The engagement has expanded twice since then.

15 months to exceed baseline SEO & Content

Ecommerce · 18 months

80% → 45%

Meta dependency reduced before iOS attribution killed the unit economics.

DTC Ecommerce · Premium Home Goods

A DTC brand running 80% of revenue through Meta saw the cliff coming.

The brand was generating most of its revenue through Meta paid ads, and they could see the iOS attribution problem getting worse. ROAS had been declining for two years. They were one bad quarter from being underwater on customer acquisition costs.

We rebuilt their email program (which was only producing about 8% of revenue). Built out an SEO content engine that didn't really exist before. Diversified the paid mix into Google Shopping and started testing TikTok. Took about a year to rebalance. Today Meta is roughly 45% of revenue, email is 22%, organic is 18%, and the rest is split across affiliate, direct, and referral. Overall revenue grew during that period because the new channels didn't cannibalize Meta. They expanded total addressable demand instead.

The Work

Six things we don't do.

The fastest way to explain how we work is to tell you what we won't do, especially when other agencies will.

01

No bait-and-switch staffing.

We don't have a senior strategist who pitches the account and a junior who actually runs it. The people on your initial sales call are the people who'll execute your engagement. If you're talking to our Head of SEO during the pitch, that's who's leading your SEO. We're a 300-person team, not 3,000. We don't need the bait-and-switch and we don't do it.

02

No six-month lock-in contracts.

Our retainers are month-to-month after the first 90 days. If we're not delivering, you can leave with 30 days notice. No legal fees, no buyout clauses, no exit penalties. Our client retention rate is over 85% past the 12-month mark. Most agencies that need long contracts need them because their work doesn't survive the test of actually being optional.

03

No "we do everything" claims.

We don't do video production. We don't do influencer marketing at scale. We don't do TV or out-of-home or experiential. We do the digital marketing fundamentals very well, and we have the humility to know what we don't do. When clients need work outside our wheelhouse, we refer them to specialists we trust.

04

No clients in direct conflict.

If we're working with one of your direct competitors, we won't take you on, no matter how much you offer. The conflict is too sharp. Most agencies will tell you they keep teams separate. They never do. We just don't take the work.

05

No internal turf wars.

Some agencies have a paid media team that fights with the SEO team for client budget. Or a brand team that hates the performance team. Our teams share KPIs and split bonuses based on overall client outcomes. It's the difference between integrated campaigns and three separate campaigns badly stapled together.

06

No billing by the hour.

We bill by outcomes and scope. Our team isn't tracking time in 15-minute increments and padding hours to hit utilization targets. We agree on what we're delivering, we agree on the price, we deliver it. If the project scope grows, we have an honest conversation about whether the change is worth re-pricing.

The Team

An agency built to actually last.

  • Elite Information Tech is around three hundred people. Most of us work from offices, the rest are remote. Our average team tenure is over four years, which is good for an agency. Our most senior people have been with us for over a decade.

  • We promote internally. About 80% of our senior strategists came up through the company. We don't hire big-title outsiders to impress new clients. Our hiring process is slow on purpose. We turn down about 95% of applicants for senior roles. The ones we keep tend to stay a long time.

  • The culture is professional, not corporate. We work hard but we don't run people into the ground. Four-day work weeks during summer months. Real paid parental leave. A training budget every person actually uses. The thing we care most about is that the work is good and the clients are well taken care of. Everything else flows from that.

  • Most agencies are run for the founders to exit. Elite Information Tech is run to last. We're not chasing acquisition by a holding company. We're not optimizing for headcount growth or top-line revenue. We're trying to do work we're proud of, for clients who deserve it, in a structure that lets us treat our team like adults. Seventeen years in, the model is working.

Most engagements start at $7K–$20K/month depending on scope. Smaller packages exist for early-stage brands. We scope every quote to the work, not to a generic tier.
Yes, when the math works. We have small-package options for businesses under $1M revenue. If the budget can't support the work to move the needle, we'll tell you that on the discovery call.
We work the full funnel (SEO + content + paid + email + brand) and we report on revenue, not rankings. Senior strategist on the account for the life of the engagement.
